Should sugary drinks be banned?

In Year 3, we have been learning to write a speech which will persuade our audience to believe what we are saying.  The topic we chose to speak about was “should sugary drinks be banned?”.  We have been doing a lot of research about sugary drinks and how they effect your body.  We have found that having to much sugar can cause heart disease, heart attacks, diabetes, rotten teeth and other medical problems.  After finding out a lot of shocking evidence about how bad sugar is, Year 3 students have decided to do the ‘switch to water’ challenge.  This means we swap fizzy drinks for water for 30 days.  By Kate Hopkins and Juliet McKinlay
